ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has approved changes in the composition of the 11th National Finance Commission (NFC).

In addition, the Balochistan government had nominated Mahfouz Ali Khan to the NFC by replacing its non-executive member, which the President formally approved. With this approval, the previous nomination was canceled.

According to a statement issued by the Presidency, President Asif Ali Zardari has also approved the Criminal Laws Amendment Bill 2025. Thus, the President gave final approval to both the reconstitution of the NFC and important legislative matters in a single day.

Similarly, the President has also approved the Pakistan Land Port Authority Bill 2025 today.
