Civil-military cooperation and joint efforts are indispensable to solve the problems faced by the people of Balochistan, says Field Marshal

Field Marshal Chief of Army Staff Syed Asim Munir, Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military), Hilal-e-Juraat visited Turbat, Balochistan.

The purpose of the visit was to review the current security situation, inspect development initiatives and further strengthen coordination between military and civil institutions for the stability and prosperity of Balochistan. The Chief Minister Balochistan, Chief Secretary Balochistan and other officials were also present on the occasion.

During the visit, Field Marshal Asim Munir was given a detailed briefing on the security situation, successful operations against Fitnatul Hindustan, ongoing development projects and efforts for socio-economic upliftment in southern Balochistan.In a meeting with the Chief Minister of Balochistan and representatives of the civil administration, Field Marshal Asim Munir stressed the importance of good governance, infrastructure development and comprehensive development based on public interest.

He termed mutual cooperation between civil and military institutions as indispensable to address the challenges faced by the people of Balochistan and assured all possible support for the socio-economic development of southern Balochistan.

The Army Chief reiterated the resolve of the Pakistan Army to stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of Balochistan to ensure sustainable peace, development and prosperity in the region. He said that civil-military cooperation and joint efforts are indispensable to resolve the problems faced by the people of Balochistan.

Addressing the soldiers, Field Marshal Asim Munir appreciated their high morale, operational readiness and unwavering commitment to safeguard national sovereignty. He praised their role in maintaining peace and stability in difficult circumstances.

Earlier, upon his arrival in Turbat, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir was received by the Corps Commander Balochistan.
