ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Balochistan’s quota has been increased by 10 percent in other similar federal programs, including the program to send students to China for training in the fields of agriculture, livestock and research.
Addressing a ceremony related to the program to send students to China in Islamabad, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that agriculture is our backbone, we are fully capable of meeting the needs of today and today 300 students have returned from China after receiving training.
He said that China is a very reliable friend of Pakistan and has cooperated with Pakistan in difficult times.
Talking about the program to send students to China for training, the Prime Minister said that for this, we have selected all four provinces in a transparent manner. In this, Balochistan’s quota is 10 percent more than its population. This is because Balochistan has pledged to make it a peer of the rest of the provinces in the race for Pakistan’s development. That is why not only such programs but also other federal programs will be given a share.
He said that very soon laptops will be given to talented boys and girls all over Pakistan and Balochistan’s share in this too is 10 percent more.
Shahbaz Sharif said that out of the 1,000 students who are being sent to China, 300 have come after training, 100 are there and 300 students are leaving on August 24, which includes our talented graduates.
He told the students that you have been selected on merit. If we apply the same standards of merit, trust and honesty in every aspect of life, then Pakistan will reach the point in just a few years that was the foundation of Pakistan.
He said that this is not the Pakistan for which mothers fought, for which they crossed rivers of blood and left everything they had and came to Pakistan in the hope that here, in the neighborhood, city, village, town and the entire country, a single coin will prevail, which is merit, hard work, trust and honesty.
Shahbaz Sharif said that there is no need to worry or panic, what has happened has happened and even today if we make this same merit our cover, then God willing, we will leave those countries that were far behind us and have now surpassed us in the race for development and make Pakistan a great Pakistan.
He said that by going to China, you can buy livestock and cotton, which once produced 14 million cotton bales in Pakistan, but today there are only 4 million. In China, you can get hybrid seed technology in cotton. The livestock industry in Pakistan can develop a lot. Visit the research center.
The Prime Minister said that we have to bring reforms in these sectors and for this we have to work day and night.
He said that I am going to China for the SCO meeting and after that, bilateral meetings and business meetings are scheduled. The only goal is to bring investment, technology and modern science here so that the children of Pakistan can acquire skills and take the country to a direction where they do not have to take loans again.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the key to Pakistan’s development is now with you, the country’s vitality is in your hands.
