Independence Day Celebrations in Bahrain

The Mission celebrated the 78th Independence Anniversary of Pakistan with great enthusiasm. A large number of Pakistanis residing in Bahrain participated in the vibrant and colourful event. The presence of children and families added to the spirit of joy and patriotism, creating an atmosphere of zeal and celebration.
The ceremony commenced with the hoisting of the national flag at the Embassy premises. Messages from the President, Prime Minister, and Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister of Pakistan were read out to the audience, followed by an address by the Ambassador. A documentary on Marka-i-Haqwas also screened.

To mark the occasion, the Mission also organized a day-long photo exhibition on Marka-i-Haq. The exhibition featured photographs of equipment used during Operation Bunyan un Marsoos, including aircraft, missiles, and cyber security tools. It also showcased the steadfast resolve of Pakistan’s civil and military leadership during the operation.

In addition, the Pakistani community was actively engaged in the Independence Day celebrations. Various community groups organized separate events across Bahrain, which were attended not only by Pakistanis but also by Bahraini nationals. The Mission played a key role in mobilizing, coordinating, and participating in these events, highlighting Pakistan’s achievements during Operation Bunyan un Marsoos.

Leading Newspapers in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Daily Tribune and Gulf Daily News published special supplements on the occasion, carrying messages from the President, the Prime Minister and the Ambassador of Pakistan.
