Karachi: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that India wants to stop the water of the Indus River, he wants to send a message to Modi that he will have to accept the Indus Water Treaty or else the water of 6 rivers will be taken away from him.

He expressed these views while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the canal, on this occasion, Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah, Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab were also present.

Bilawal Bhutto said that Pakistan defeated India in war, India has also suffered a humiliating defeat at the diplomatic level. The Modi government is supporting extremists and terrorists, India is facilitating the BLA and Majeed Brigade.

Bilawal Bhutto said that 100 MGD of water will be provided from the Hub Dam, PC-1 for providing water to Lyari has been approved, he will meet the Prime Minister in which the increase in water will be discussed.

The PP Chairman said that I pay tribute to the people of Karachi and Hyderabad, these people have been giving face to terrorists, there was a politics of hatred and division here, which our people stood in front of. For the first time, people have been elected mayors in Karachi and Hyderabad, the people of Karachi and Hyderabad have recognized the politicians who spread hatred.

Addressing the ceremony, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that after 20 years, additional water will come to Karachi, it was promised, the work will be completed by August 14, the repair work of the old canal will be completed by December, we will request the federal government to provide 200 million water from the Hub Dam.
