Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi on Wednesday separately challenged the "un-Islamic" Nikah case verdict delivered earlier this month in a district and sessions court.
The former first couple's appeals will be marked by the sessions court today, as they approached the court on February 3, weeks after a trial court sentenced them to seven years in jail and a fine of Rs 500,000.
Bushra Bibi through her lawyers Usman Gul, Khalid Yusuf and Salman Safdar has filed an appeal to annul the verdict.
