An 85-year-old Israeli woman who was released from prison by Hamas, the resistance organization of occupied Palestine, praised the behavior of Hamas and said that the behavior of Hamas members during the imprisonment was friendly and met all the needs.
One of the two prisoners released by Hamas on Monday night, 85-year-old Israeli woman Yosheved Lifshitz, told the media that she was killed during the kidnapping but was treated well in captivity.
A wheelchair-bound Lifshitz, 85, told reporters that his captors took him to Gaza and then forced him to walk several kilometers across wet ground to reach a network of tunnels that looked like a spider’s web. was
He said that the boys tortured him on the way but he and four others were treated well after being taken to a room, the conditions were clean and all were given medical aid including medicines.
The Israeli woman said that the security personnel told us that they believed in the Quran and would not harm us.
He said that a doctor would come to examine him and the other hostages after two to three days. During their imprisonment, Hamas made sure that he and the other hostages received the same type of medication they were taking in Israel.
“They seemed really ready for it, they had it hidden for a long time and they took care of all the necessities that people need like shampoo and conditioner,” he added.
“They gave us pita bread, hard cheese, some low-fat cream cheese and cucumbers and that was our food for the whole day,” he added. It should be noted that last night, Hamas released two more women, including 79-year-old Nurit Cooper and 85-year-old Yushiod Lifshitz, on the mediation of Qatar and Egypt.
On the other hand, Israel’s brutality continues and airstrikes are being carried out on Gaza. Since October 7, more than 5,000 Palestinians have been martyred in these attacks, including a large number of children.
