Recently, archaeologists in Georgia have found a 1.8 million year old human jaw.
According to reports, in the current year 2025, a 1.8 million year old lower jaw was discovered at a place called Oruzmani in Georgia, which is being attributed to a type of ancient man.
Scientists have named this early type of man as Homo erectus.
This discovery is one of the oldest humans found outside Africa, which shows how early groups of humans spread across Eurasia.
Apart from the jaw, scientists have also found fossils of various animals from the same place such as elephants, wolves, cows, giraffes, tigers, etc., while stone tools have also been found along with it.
