Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb said that he will get full support from banks in the issuance of Panda Bonds and this project is on track.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Finance said that Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb discussed the issuance of Panda Bonds and the economic situation of Pakistan in a meeting with the Governor of the Bank of China and the officials of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the Bank of China and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China have assured full cooperation in the issuance of Panda Bonds.

According to the Ministry of Finance, Panda Bonds worth $300 million will be issued in the first phase, and the issuance of Panda Bonds worth a total of $1 billion will be completed in three phases by 2028.
