ISLAMABAD: Adviser to Prime Minister on National Security Dr. Moeed Yusuf has said that no country will be allowed to use soil of Pakistan for terrorism and subversive activities.
In interaction with private news channel on Sunday, he highlighted the role being played by Pakistan for maintaining peace in the region.
Dr. Moeed Yusuf said the prevailing situation of Afghanistan is perturbed for the entire region as it is facing worst kind of internal disturbance.
A failure to achieve peace in Afghanistan is the most immediate challenge facing by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, he added.
The National Security Adviser said that Pakistan has always been desirous of an Afghan-led and Afghan-owned negotiated political settlement of the Afghanistan, which is the only way forward to achieve peace in the region. Moeed Yusuf said that sacrifices rendered by Pakistan in war on terror and to save the region of anarchy are matchless and it was it still making all out efforts to maintain peace in region.
