Instant messaging app WhatsApp is testing a new feature for its users that will make conversations in group chats more organized and easier. Under this feature, instead of appearing separately, replies to messages will now be collected in one place in the form of threads.
Currently, the reply to any message on WhatsApp appears in the form of a separate message, due to which if several people in the group respond to the same message, the entire conversation looks scattered. But in the new feature, if ten people reply to a message, all the replies will be connected to a thread with the original message. In this way, it will be easier to follow the ongoing conversation on a topic.
The most benefit of this facility will be in large group chats, where several people are talking at the same time. Through this, even newly added users will be able to easily understand the discussion on an important topic. By clicking on the reply thread, all the replies will be read together.
WhatsApp has currently made this feature available to a limited number of users for testing. It is expected that it will be rolled out to more users soon and later introduced to general users.
