KARACHI: Meteorological Department has given the probable date of the Zil Hajj moon in Pakistan.
According to the Meteorological Department, the birth of the Zil Hajj moon will take place on June 18 at 9:37 PM. There may also be partial clouds during this time. The statement added that based on the information received from the observatory, the Zil Hajj moon is highly likely to be sighted on June 19. This day will be the 29th of Dhul Hajj.
According to the Meteorological Department, if the moon is sighted on the 19th, then Eid-ul-Adha may be on June 29, Thursday.
The Sighting of the Crescent Committee is convened on the 29th of every Islamic month and the final announcement regarding the sighting of the moon is made by the Central Sighting of the Crescent Committee.
