The US embassy staff in Israel have been instructed to leave the country today if they wish to do so.

According to the international news agency, this instruction was given by US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee in an email to his staff.

The American newspaper New York Times has claimed that the US ambassador sent an email to the embassy staff, saying that employees or their families who wish to leave Israel should make arrangements to leave today.

The email said that the embassy has allowed non-essential government staff and their families to voluntarily leave Israel, so it is possible that there will be fewer seats on flights today.

The staff was also instructed to try to get a seat on any available flight from Ben Gurion Airport so that they can leave the country in the first stage.

The ambassador also wrote in the email that there is no need to panic, but those who want to go should plan to leave as soon as possible.

Analysts say the immediate departure of diplomatic staff could be a sign that the security situation in the region is likely to deteriorate further.

This directive comes at a time when tensions in the region are rising rapidly and concerns about potential security threats are being expressed.

Earlier, the US State Department also issued a travel warning, saying that due to security concerns, non-emergency US personnel stationed in Israel and their families have been allowed to leave the country.

This move comes at a time when, due to increasing tensions between Iran and Israel in the region, there are fears that Iran or its allies may retaliate if there is any military action by the US or Israel.

According to reports, in this context, the US has also increased military preparations in the region and measures related to the protection of diplomatic personal.
