KARACHI: Two suspected terrorists were killed and one arrested in police raid in Karachi on Wednesday.
Counter Terrorism Department conducted a raid on information about hideout of al-Qaeda linked terrorists in Gadap Town area in outskirts of Karachi. On seeing police, terrorists opened fire, exchange of fire continued for two hours during which two terrorists were killed and one was arrested.
A large quantity of ammunition and explosive making factory was recovered there.
Sources in CTD say the killed terrorists belong to al-Qaeda’s subcontinent wing, identified as Rehan and Hammad, involved in attacks on police and Rangers.
