Microblogging site Twitter has introduced a new feature for its iOS users that lets them create their own GIFs using the in-app camera, Gadgets360 reported.
The feature will allow users to share short clips on their timeline without having to post full videos as the application restricts its users to put up only short videos.
Ok GIFs aren’t new but what *is new* is the option to capture your own using the in-app camera on iOS. pic.twitter.com/3Hl6q78e6s

Creating these GIFs is super easy. Just tap on the new tweet button, hit the photo icon, and then the camera icon and select the GIF mode, before recording the video.
However, there is reportedly no way to save the GIFs on the user’s phone or computer yet. Also, there are no reports of the possibility of this feature’s release for Android users.
