Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has said that Donald Trump is the main culprit behind the deaths and financial losses in the recent protests.
According to the International News Agency, the Iranian Supreme Leader accused Donald Trump of being directly responsible for the protests, saying that the US president is directly behind them.
Ayatollah Khamenei added that the US president himself is the main culprit behind the deaths, financial losses and propaganda against the people.
The Iranian Supreme Leader said that the recent anti-Iran uprising was different in that the US president was personally involved in it.
He accused Donald Trump of playing a direct role in inciting the Iranian people, spreading unrest in the country and inciting violence through social media and statements.
Ayatollah Khamenei said that these protests were not a popular movement but a planned conspiracy by the US and its allies aimed at destabilizing Iran.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei said that hostile forces wanted to spread hatred against the regime using economic difficulties as an excuse.
International human rights organizations have claimed that more than 2,500 people have been killed in the protests in Iran since late December.
It should be remembered that Donald Trump, while expressing support for the Iranian protesters in several statements, had warned Iran that if the arrested protesters were executed, the United States would attack.
After which Donald Trump claimed that Iran had stopped implementing the death penalty for the protesters. Therefore, they are no longer taking military action.
