Punjab Governor Sardar Salim Haider has said that the deadlock between the PPP and the government in terms of agreements remains, democracy will be better if the tenure of the army chief is five years.
Talking to the media on the occasion of the dinner given by the leader of the People’s Party, the Governor of Punjab said that the twenty-sixth constitutional amendment has been passed and the credit goes to Bilawal Bhutto. He said that there is a deadlock in the agreements with our government and the decision will be taken by the leadership after returning from abroad.
He said that if there is a government today, Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto have an important role in it. Governor Punjab said that the mandate of People’s Party was always stolen in every election, but we never shook hands under the table, instead we took a bitter sip for the country. Sardar Salim Haider said that now the situation has improved a bit, if this system runs for five years, the political and economic situation will improve.
