Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while thanking the President, Nawaz Sharif and the leaders and members of the coalition parties for the 27th Constitutional Amendment, said that the spirit of Benazir will be very happy today with the establishment of constitutional courts.
Speaking in the National Assembly after the approval of the 27th Constitutional Amendment, Shehbaz Sharif said that the House demonstrated national unity and solidarity, I thank all the people.
He said that our long-time friend Irfan Siddiqui has passed away. He was a teacher of teachers. He spent his life in teaching and when he came to politics, he fulfilled his loyalty to the PML-N and Nawaz Sharif with full responsibility.
Wana Terrorism
The Prime Minister said that in Wana, the Khawarij committed a heinous act of fueling the market of terrorism and revived the memory of the APS tragedy. We cannot thank Allah enough that no casualties were reported. He said that the Khawarij, which unfortunately included people from Afghanistan, all went to hell and all the cadets, teachers, and students were safely evacuated.
He said that congratulations to the entire nation on this successful operation, I deeply thank the forces, the forces acted professionally and saved us from major losses.
Courthouse Blast
Shehbaz Sharif said that the terrorist incident outside the courthouse in Islamabad is tragic, in which the judicial complex was targeted and 12 people, including lawyers, were martyred while four are in a struggle for life and death. He prayed that Allah may grant all the martyrs a place in heaven and the injured a complete recovery.
Foreign involvement in the incidents
The Prime Minister said that the foreign hand is prominent in these and other terrorist incidents, TTP, BLA are active from Afghanistan and they also have links with India, we presented other evidence including the Jafar Express tragedy to the world, but no one challenged these facts.
He said that not linking foreigners with terrorism is like calling day night and night day because there is evidence of their involvement, we are fully aware of the actions of foreign elements, we have given a befitting reply in the past and will give it now and we will not allow them to hinder the peace, development and prosperity of Pakistan.
‘The Afghan government should prevent its territory from being used against Pakistan’
The Prime Minister said that talks were held with the Afghan interim government in Doha and Istanbul, in which Pakistan was a participant and we reiterated our long-standing demand that the interim Afghan government stop the TTP and BLA present on its territory.
He said that our forces fight every day, a young major is martyred, a lieutenant colonel and a soldier are martyred, our martyrs call their children Khuda Hafiz and save millions of children from orphanhood.
‘Not reining in terrorists by making false and true promises is not tolerated under any circumstances’
The Prime Minister said that we want peace to be established, Afghanistan to agree on this matter and become an equal partner in peace with Pakistan, we know what is best for Pakistan and Afghanistan, if terrorists are not reined in after false and true promises, we will not tolerate it under any circumstances.
The Prime Minister said that we have been hospitable to millions of Afghans for forty years and have not let them feel that they are strangers, we have always treated them like brothers and guests and we continued this process until we returned home, today the world is seeing what is being given to us as a reward for forty years of hospitality.
Conditional offer to accompany Afghanistan
The Prime Minister offered the Afghan interim government to come, sit down with sincerity and rein in the terrorists, we will accompany you completely, peace should be established in the region so that there is development and prosperity.
Constitutional Amendment
The Prime Minister said that special thanks to the President for approving the constitutional amendment, Nawaz Sharif came here and participated in the proceedings, Bilawal Bhutto, Khalid Maqbool, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Abdul Aleem Khan, Khalid Magsi Sahib, Ijazul Haq, ANP nephew Aimal Wali and all members of the allied parties who voted in favor of the constitutional amendment.
‘The coming into existence of the Constitutional Court is the culmination of the Charter of Democracy’
Shehbaz Sharif said that I thank Ishaq Dar, Azam Nazir Tarar, Attorney General Mansoor Awan, Secretary Law, Speaker and all the people, there was a thorough consultation on the constitutional amendment, these amendments have now become part of the constitution
The Charter of Democracy clearly mentioned the Constitutional Court, today after 19 years this dream has come true, Benazir’s soul must be getting solace, Allah has also made Nawaz Sharif proud today, the coming into existence of the Constitutional Court is the culmination of the Charter of Democracy.
‘Everyone has to work together for the development and prosperity of the country’
The Prime Minister said that today the opposition has not remembered the Constitutional Court in 19 years, today this court is giving them pain, but I believe that the opposition has the right to disagree and we respect it, however, abusive language and accusations have to be stopped, everyone has to work together for the development and prosperity of the country.
Shahbaz Sharif said that after the great victory of the struggle for truth and the failure on the diplomatic front, Modi is still helpless, in such a situation we should promote national unity and unity.

He said that thanks to Chief Justice Yahya Afridi, who provided full support and the courts made decisions and billions of rupees have come to the national treasury, Yahya Afridi is a good name Chief Justice, his personality and performance are excellent, I got his help and I thank him through this forum.
‘The Chief Justice will head the Constitutional Court and institutions’
He said that I assure you that after the 27th Constitutional Amendment, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court will continue to head the Constitutional Court and institutions.
‘After victory in the war of truth, foreign leaders take five steps forward to welcome’
The Prime Minister said that after the glorious victory of the war of truth, the leaders of any country take five steps forward to welcome. When a country went there a year and a half ago, there was a mandatory welcome and trivial things happened, but when he went there recently after the war of truth, the scene he saw was indescribable. It was the same leaders who went forward and hugged, whereas earlier they used to meet as a mandatory meeting.
He said that this honor was bestowed upon us by Allah, it is the result of courage, morality, trust in Allah, praying at dawn and bravery that Pakistan has not been able to achieve that honor on the diplomatic and military front in decades.
‘The position of Field Marshal will also be for naval and air chiefs’
He said that when the government conferred the honor of Field Marshal on Asim Munir, the entire nation appreciated it, which has been made part of the constitution today. The position of Field Marshal will not only be for the army but also for the naval and air chiefs.
The Prime Minister said that nations respect their martyrs and ghazis, we know how to honor and make our heroes respect, we have made this process a part of the constitution.
He said that if the provinces are strong, the federation will be strong, Pakistan is formed only when the four units come together, there is no question that any change should be made in the 18th Amendment or NFC without consultation, we are happy with the development of the provinces.
The Prime Minister said that I am with anything that strengthens Pakistan and the federation, this point of view has been there for years, no matter how good something that weakens the federation is, it is not good for the federation, the Kalabagh Dam is a wonderful economic project, but if it weakens the federation, then even 100 Kalabagh Dams are there, but I am not in favor of it.
Shahbaz Sharif said that the forces are fighting terrorism, soldiers, officers, law enforcement agencies, Rangers, police are making sacrifices and maintaining peace in the country, the Pakistani forces take immediate action after an incident anywhere.
He said that the expenses of the army and Rangers are borne by the federation, but we will sit separately and discuss this issue and if there is no agreement, then there is no point. Here, his hint was that the provinces should pay the expenses.
Shahbaz Sharif said that there are many issues to be resolved by sitting down, such as the customs duty being collected by the provinces is not mentioned in the constitution, but a presidential ordinance has been issued in this regard, we have to take the sufferings and the sufferings together and end them.
