Pakistan’s rising actress Reham Rafique has made important revelations about the unsafe environment for women in the drama industry.

In a recent interview, she warned aspiring actresses to be aware of the potential challenges and dangers before entering the industry. “There is not just competition, there are also negative attitudes,” she said.

While talking to the host of the program, Reham Rafique said that the environment of competition between actresses in the drama industry is natural, but sometimes this competition turns into negative attitudes. She said, “I myself do not believe in competing or comparing with anyone, but I have seen that some artistes create obstacles in the path of others due to jealousy.”

The actress said that women are unsafe in every field, not just showbiz. Reham emphasized that this problem is not limited to the drama industry, but women in most professional fields face various kinds of challenges. “Every girl should be mentally prepared and know how to protect herself,” she said.

She clarified that there are all kinds of people in the industry. “It depends on the person which path they choose. I personally have never had any unpleasant incidents, but overall I consider the drama industry unsafe for women.”
