Supreme Court appoints 6 cases of PTI founder to be heard

The Supreme Court has scheduled six cases of PTI founder Bushra Bibi and one each of Shah Mehmood Qureshi for hearing.

According to the roster issued by the Registrar Supreme Court, a three-member bench headed by Justice Muhammad Hashim Khan Kakar has been formed to hear the cases.

Justice Salahuddin Panhor and Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim are also part of the bench.

According to the Registrar, six cases of PTI founder Bushra Bibi and one each of Shah Mehmood Qureshi will be heard on February 18.

Among the cases scheduled for hearing is a petition to suspend the sentence given by the Islamabad High Court in the Tosha Khana criminal case.

In addition, the Punjab government’s appeal against the bail of the founder Tehreek-e-Insaf has been scheduled for hearing, while the Punjab government’s appeal against the bail of Bushra Bibi has been scheduled for hearing.

The appeal against the acquittal of the founder and Shah Mehmood Qureshi in the Cipher case, the official application against the founder’s bail in the May 9 Lahore cases, and the founder’s appeals against Shahbaz Sharif in the defamation case have been scheduled for hearing.
