Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Central Secretary for Information Sheikh Waqas Akram has strongly condemned Imran Khan’s secret medical examination and said that no medical procedure is acceptable without the permission of personal doctors.

In his statement, Sheikh Waqas Akram said that secret medical procedures in prison are a violation of human rights, and there are concerns about Imran Khan’s health.

He demanded that the restrictions on meetings with family and lawyers be immediately lifted and Imran Khan be immediately transferred to Shifa International.

Sheikh Waqas Akram said that the public was deceived in the name of “Eid gift”, the prices of high-octane and kerosene were sharply increased. Inflation broke the back of the poor and middle class, a transparent investigation should be conducted on the 390 billion contingency fund.

He said that the increase in petroleum levy should be withdrawn immediately, the government should reduce its lavish spending and not burden the public. Ministers should cut their privileges by 100 percent, the storm of inflation is the result of government policies.

Central Secretary for Information Sheikh Waqas Akram said that the energy crisis has intensified due to the failure of foreign policy, and claims of public relief are manipulation of data.
