Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that rapid development and public projects are underway in the province and soon Punjab will be at par with Japan in terms of development.

Addressing the Pakistani community in Yokohama, Japan, Maryam Nawaz said that even if you search in Japan, you will not find garbage and a similar world’s largest cleaning project, Clean Punjab, is underway in our province.

She said that the work underway in Punjab will soon be at par with Japan, and the cleaning system of Yokohama will be included in the Punjab program. Maryam Nawaz said that even opponents say today that they have not seen such a clean Punjab, 150,000 job opportunities have been created in the Clean Punjab project, while modern machinery worth 25 to 30 billion rupees has been purchased to serve the public.

The Chief Minister said that a force has been formed under the leadership of Maryam Aurangzeb to closely monitor the environment in the province, the aim of which is to make transparent arrangements for the future of children and families. This force is monitoring air quality.

He said that since he took over the government, he has taken rapid steps in the health sector and today the situation is that besides Punjab, people come from all four provinces, GB and Kashmir for free treatment.

Maryam Nawaz said that overseas Pakistanis fall for the trap, ask those who do not build nations by building roads, where should hospitals, universities and roads be built? They have snatched food from the poor by increasing inflation.

The Punjab Chief Minister said that I am working day and night and will bring development to Pakistan like Japan, the largest Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital in South Asia is nearing construction and work is progressing rapidly every day.

He said that Lahore will be developed like Yokohama, seeing the warm welcome of the people today, it seems that I am speaking in Lahore and not Yokohama. On this occasion, Yokohama and SEZ Pakistanis also raised slogans in favor of the Pakistan Army.

Maryam Nawaz said that if building roads does not build a nation, then what can be done by abusing it? Our overseas people fall into the trap, today Pakistan’s economy is in the right direction, while relations with friendly countries deteriorated during the PTI era, there was talk of default during the time of power and the government was the first to save the country from default after assuming power.

She said that Shahbaz Sharif feels the pain of the nation, he works from 7 am to 12 midnight, every day of Pakistan is better than the previous day, Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif and I are working hard, we are working with dedication and Allah Almighty gives success.

Maryam Nawaz said that I try to learn by looking right and left during my travels abroad, we have built 20 thousand kilometers of broken and potholed roads in the province within a year, no inter-district road is broken and they are being built with modern facilities.

Maryam Nawaz further said that power does not mean going to the office at will, drinking coffee and making accusations, but one has to work for it. Thousands of field hospitals and motorcycle hospitals are running in Punjab. A force has been formed to stop the prices that are being seized.

She said that steps are being taken to maintain the prices of bread and flour. Since I came, bread has been priced at Rs 12 and Rs 13.
