Lahore: JUI-F has said that it will ensure the freedom and autonomy of madrasas at all costs, the government’s incompetence was evident by the issuance of the ordinance without the President’s signature.
JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman met with JUI-F Lahore General Secretary Hafiz Abdul Rehman and discussed the country’s political situation. Maulana Fazl Usmani, Maulana Maqsood Ul Wari, Hafiz Zainul Abideen, Salman Arif, Muhammad Shahid and other party officials were present in the meeting.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman also condoled with the family of party leader Qari Muhammad Tahir on his death.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that it will ensure the freedom and autonomy of madrasas at all costs, pressure on madrasas is an external agenda that we reject, the rulers should look at religious institutions with respect.
Meanwhile, the JUI spokesperson said that the issuance of the ordinance without the President’s signature exposed the government’s incompetence, insulted the President’s office, parliament, politicians and democracy, and made a mockery of the constitution and democracy.
The spokesperson said that the rulers buried the constitution, values and democracy alive for a few days of power, perhaps in the future, the parliament will not have to worry about ordinances, amendments, or signatures.
Spokesperson Aslam Ghauri said that this is what happens in a majority given through fake and forced means, the people have always paid the price for the PML-N and PP’s lust for power, the government’s achievements prove that the rulers are on the path to saving their jobs, they have no concern for the people, the parliament is presenting the scene of an ordinance factory.
