Prime Minister visits technology park under construction in Islamabad, expresses anger over slow pace of work

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited the under-construction Technology Park in Islamabad and expressed his anger over the slow pace of construction of the Technology Park.

The Prime Minister directed to complete the IT Park as soon as possible and said that the project should be completed within the specified period as per the initial instructions, and the provision of facilities according to world standards should be ensured in the project.

Shahbaz Sharif said that all the responsible parties should intensify their efforts to complete the project.

In the briefing given on the occasion, it was informed that the IT Park consists of 2 underground, ground, and 9 upper floors, the park includes offices, incubation center, business support center, R&D laboratories, Level III data center, auditorium, and parking for 1,200 vehicles.

The briefing further informed that the aim of the IT Park is to create jobs for the youth, increase economic growth, increase global IT competitiveness, and eliminate the digital divide.
