Briefing senior journalists on the operations of the security forces in 2025, Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that successful operations were carried out against terrorism last year, 75,175 intelligence-based operations were carried out last year and 5,400 incidents of terrorism occurred, while 1,235 law enforcers and civilians were martyred.
He said that the state is committed to counter-terrorism, has taken important steps to counter-terrorism, the state has a clear stance against terrorism, the world has appreciated Pakistan’s steps against terrorism, the state’s stance against terrorism is clear, the state is committed to eliminating terrorism, Khawarij has nothing to do with Islam.

Last year, 27 suicide attacks took place, 80 percent of terrorist attacks took place in KP, and a politically favorable environment is provided for terrorism in KP.

He said that all political parties are in agreement on the National Action Plan, the implementation of the National Action Plan is necessary to eliminate terrorism, Allah’s command regarding Khawarij is to kill them wherever they are found.
