The Election Tribunal has rejected the petition filed against the victory of Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar in the general election from constituency NA-127.

According to Express News, Malik Zaheer Abbas Khokhar challenged the electoral victory of the Federal Information Minister, but the tribunal declared the petition invalid, inadmissible and baseless.

Malik Zaheer Abbas Khokhar took several hearing dates and also submitted applications for adjournment of the case, however, he failed to present any concrete evidence in his favor.

Barrister Haris Azmat Advocate appeared before the Election Tribunal to represent Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar.

The Election Tribunal dismissed the election petition due to lack of concrete evidence and the petition not being admissible. On this occasion, the Prime Minister’s Political Coordinator Syed Tauseef Shah was also present during the hearing.
