There is great news for commuters in Karachi because Peoples Bus Service will run between Gulshan-e-Hadeed and Tower. The lengthy route had previously been divided into two, so passengers on the Gulshan-e-Hadeed had to first travel to Malir Cantt. They had to board a brand-new bus to get to Tower from Malir Cantt.
The meeting was presided over by Sindh’s transport minister, Sharjeel Inam Memon, on Wednesday. It was determined that the Peoples Bus Service would begin travelling directly from Gulshan-e-Hadid to Tower on Monday rather than via Shahra-e-Faisal.
The minister said that the route was changed in response to the people of Gulshan-e-requests. Hadid’sAdditionally, according to Memon, 30 buses will begin running on the Khokhrapar-Tower route on September 29.
He claimed that there is an increase in demand for the bus service. In answer to several queries, he stated, “We must continue improving the service with surpassing being disallowed.
The transport minister instructed the Sindh Mass Transit Authority to assemble a monitoring team. He said the team would have to report on a number of issues, like overloading and buses arriving on time.
At the conference, there was also a discussion on the Peoples Bus Service in Larkana. In order to resolve problems the routes were experiencing, the minister gave the MD Mass Transit Authority instructions to routinely communicate with the Larkana district administration.
