The Wall Street Journal described Pakistan’s recent diplomatic performance as a “diplomatic coup,” openly  acknowledging and appreciating the scale of its success. For a country that was, until recently, portrayed as isolated and struggling for relevance, this recognition reflects a decisive shift. Pakistan is no longer on the defensive. It is asserting itself as a decisive force in regional and global affairs, commanding attention, shaping outcomes, and setting the terms of engagement.

Pakistan today is not merely participating in regional affairs. It is shaping them. In South Asia, it has re established itself as a central force whose position cannot be ignored. In the Middle East, it has moved beyond the sidelines and emerged as a credible and trusted interlocutor. From China to the United States, from Saudi Arabia to Iran, and across to Turkey and Egypt, Pakistan is engaging with confidence, balance, and authority. This is the posture of a country that knows its weight.

This is not routine diplomacy. This is effectiveness at scale. Pakistan is simultaneously managing relationships that often stand in opposition to one another, yet it is doing so without losing credibility on any side. In an increasingly divided world, that is not just success. It is strategic command.

A significant share of this success rests on the shoulders of Field Marshal Asim Munir. His leadership has injected clarity, discipline, and confidence into Pakistan’s external posture. Through sustained military diplomacy, Pakistan has strengthened its standing in security cooperation, counterterrorism coordination, and strategic dialogue. These are not symbolic engagements. They are the foundations of influence.

At the same time, the role of the government is integral. Diplomatic momentum cannot be sustained without political direction and institutional alignment. The current coherence between the government and state institutions has enabled Pakistan to act with unity and purpose, projecting stability outward while advancing its interests.

These achievements are not fragmented gains. They represent a collective national success. This is the success of the state, of its institutions, and of a strategic vision that is now delivering results. Pakistan today stands not at the margins, but at the center of key regional and international conversations. It is being engaged, consulted, and taken seriously.

At the same time, these successes call for reflection and gratitude. We must thank Allah for allowing us to witness this moment, while also acknowledging those who made it possible. Our Field Marshal Asim Munir, our Prime Minister, our diplomats, and the entire national team deserve recognition for steering Pakistan to this position. As a nation, we must resolve to carry this momentum forward, to strengthen Pakistan across every sphere, just as we have advanced in defense, strategic affairs, and diplomacy. The future of Pakistan, InshaAllah, is bright, and the country is poised to move forward with confidence in every domain.
