The Emirates Cricket Board has dismissed concerns about India boycotting the match against Pakistan.

According to the details, the Asia Cup hosted by India will be played in the United Arab Emirates from September 9 to 28.

Before that, the Pakistani team will participate in a triangular series with Afghanistan and the UAE.

The Emirates Cricket Board is continuing its preparations for the Asia Cup. The first match between Pakistan and India will be on September 14 and possibly the second on September 21.

If they reach the final, there may also be a third battle between the traditional rivals.

Regarding the Asia Cup, Subhan Ahmed, Chief Operating Officer of the Emirates Cricket Board, said that our preparations are complete and we will provide the fans with the opportunity to enjoy the best cricket.

Speaking exclusively to the representative of ‘Express’, he said that the cricket boards of all the teams participating in the event confirmed their participation in the Asia Cup only after obtaining permission from their governments.

Subhan Ahmed said that a 100 percent guarantee cannot be given, but we are fully hopeful that the Indian team will also participate in the match against Pakistan.

He said that there is no fear of boycott from the fans and there is hope for a houseful. In the past, fans have always kept cricket and politics separate and it will be the same now.

COO Emirates Cricket Board said that we know that fans are anxiously waiting for match tickets, which negative elements have also taken advantage of and started selling fake tickets online.

He said that this is the reason why the Asian Cricket Council and the ECB had to issue a social media alert, in which we informed that tickets are not being sold yet, so do not waste your money by getting caught in the clutches of counterfeiters, wait a little and buy tickets from the official website only after the official announcement.

Subhan Ahmed said that we are in talks with a ticketing agency, an agreement will be reached soon, fans will be able to buy tickets online in the next few days, we will try to keep the rates reasonable.

To a question, the ECB COO said that we have not received any instructions from the government to allocate separate stands for Pakistani and Indian fans in Dubai, like in the past, everyone will sit together and enjoy the game.

He said that the local government of Sharjah has instructed to seat Pakistani and Afghan fans separately, which is why they are doing this in the triangular series. There is no Asia Cup match in Sharjah.

Subhan Ahmed said that fans will be able to get UAE visas in the normal way, however, the government has made special arrangements for players, officials and other stakeholders.

He said that there will be no grand opening ceremony of the Asia Cup, but it will be started in a simple manner.
