Pakistan and China have presented a five-point joint agenda for establishing peace in the Middle East.According to the details, in the meeting of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Beijing, the two countries presented a five-point joint plan for peace in the Gulf and the Middle East.
The two leaders reviewed the overall situation in the region in the meeting and presented a five-point joint peace plan.
According to the declaration, Pakistan and China presented a plan to make every possible effort to prevent the conflict in the Middle East and the Gulf from spreading further and to ensure uninterrupted supply of humanitarian aid to the war-affected areas.
Both countries stressed that the sovereignty, territorial integrity and security of Iran and the Gulf states should be protected, while Pakistan and China, calling diplomacy and negotiations the only effective way to resolve the issues, suggested that all parties start negotiations for a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
Both countries urged that any country refrain from the use or threat of force, while calling for ensuring the safety of civilians and an immediate cessation of attacks on non-military installations.
