LAHORE: The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources has issued a notification to re-open the Compressed Natural Gas stations acrossPunjab on Friday.
As per details, CNG station owners who deposit Rs1.2 million in advance will be allowed to resume supply. The filling stations would remain open till June 6 without any break.
All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA) Chairman Ghayas Piracha thanked Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi for his special support enabling the owners to open CNG stations after a long gap.
The government decided to reopen the stations after drastic reduction in the use of natural gas in the summer and arrival of the LNG shipment from Qatar.
