No talks with India possible without resolution of Kashmir issue, says Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that there is no possibility of any kind of bilateral relations or talks with India without a solution to the Kashmir issue.

Addressing the Overseas Convention in London, he clearly said that if anyone thinks that Pak-India relations can be established without Kashmir, then he lives in a fool’s paradise.

The Prime Minister further said that the victory achieved by Pakistan in Operation Banyan Marsus has increased the country’s prestige at the international level. Appreciating the services of the British Pakistani community, he said that the wonderful support of overseas Pakistanis in the economy is unforgettable. He said that even if overseas Pakistanis are weighed in gold and jewels, it is less. He said that this year, overseas Pakistanis have sent $38.5 billion to Pakistan.

He further said that Pakistanis living in Britain and other countries are playing a significant role in the development and stability of the country and the government is constantly working for their rights and protection. He said that Pakistan will continue to present its position strongly at international forums.

The Prime Minister will leave London for the United States today where he will address the United Nations General Assembly session and also hold some important meetings. This will be his third address to the General Assembly as Prime Minister.
