COAS176th Corps Commander moot

RAWALPINDI: 176th Corps Commanders’ Conference held here at General Headquarters Wednesday expressed resolve to continue Operations Zarb-i-Azb and Khyber-I till elimination of terrorists and vowed that terrorists will not be allowed to regroup and return to these areas, neither will they be allowed any space across the country.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif who chaired the meeting expressed complete satisfaction over progress made in Operations and gains achieved so far. He paid rich tributes to the courage shown and sacrifices rendered by troops during the ongoing operations.

The COAS directed all concerned that no stone be left unturned to assist TDPs during their stay outside and in their early return to their homes.

Participants of the conference were given detailed briefing on overall security situation in the country with particular reference to progress of ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb and Operation Khyber. The conference was part of routine monthly meeting. DNA
