ISLAMABAD: Part two of Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali’s exclusive interview with the Chief Editor of the Pakistan Group of Newspapers and Chairman Roze News, he stated, “Taking the seat of power in a hurry will cause loss to the country; all political parties should show tolerance.” Instead of fighting, there is a need for political maturity.

He further stated, “I can work without authority; the people of the province are facing enormous problems, and institutions do not even have money to pay salaries.” He recalled an action and said, “There was a problem of gas in Peshawar; I called all the employees and sorted out the problem; during the meeting, I spoke to the MD and thanked him; the MD instructed them to start these projects, the MD made a commitment to me that he would solve the gas problem in Peshawar in two months. Responding to a question, he stated, “I am ready to compromise on everything; there is no compromise on the issue of development, prosperity, education, the law, and the order of the province.”

These issues are directly related to people. If we keep fighting among ourselves, the people will continue to be exploited. I am a political activist, and this city has given me a lot of respect. There is hardly any politician who has been elected for 40 years. I am extremely grateful to the citizens of Peshawar, mothers, and sisters.

My son defeated them (PTI) by 15 to 20 thousand votes; his government, MPA, and MNA still we defeated them. We and the ANP won all of the tehsil chairmanships in Peshawar, while the Tehreek-e-Insaf won only seats near the city’s outskirts. My constitutional responsibility is not allowed by the office. At this time, I will talk about my province.

He continued, “I will speak the language of the state, and the language of the state is the Constitution.” Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam always struggles within the framework of the Constitution. Provincial governments and the federation should also look at the problems: there is anxiety among the people, the youth is in trouble, and your old system has collapsed.

A new system is not yet ready to be made. We have to struggle to create a new system. We will have to lobby. I say again and again that we have to feed these children. We should try to solve their difficulties and problems. The youth need to know the future plan. We need to give the youth a plan. We must send a message to the youth that the state stands with you. Despite the difficulties, we will try to solve your problems.

Try to fulfil whatever you promise. We need to take advantage of our natural resources. We need to do research in these areas. We should create a system to get people employed, we should bring educated children into research work, and the government should ensure the provision of loans on easy terms.

Taking such measures will provide people with jobs, he concluded.
