According to aviation sources, the American delegation was supposed to arrive in Islamabad at 7 am, but the flight was delayed and the plane finally landed at Nur Khan Air Base at 10:33 am.
The US Air Force C-32A aircraft traveled from Maryland to Islamabad after a journey of about 14 hours and 20 minutes, during which the plane also stopped in Paris for about two and a half hours. The plane had departed at 5:47 pm Pakistan time.
Regarding the flight route, it was reported that the plane did not take a traditional route, but rather traveled to Tajikistan via Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, and Samarkand, avoiding the airspace of the Middle East.
According to sources, the plane also avoided Afghan airspace and entered Pakistani territory near Chitral, where the American plane was warmly welcomed into the airspace.
It has also been reported that the plane’s call sign for this trip to Islamabad was “SAM095”, indicating a special government air mission.
