An American researcher who is also a composer has composed music just for cats that has the ability to attract cats.

The composer who composed music specifically for cats under the University of Maryland is David Tye.

This project he has developed is known as “Music for Cats” and its aim is to create music that is compatible with cats’ sense of hearing and their natural sounds (such as meowing, purring, and the sound of milk drinking).

An experiment was also conducted regarding music, in which a local singer’s song was first played, to which the cats did not respond.

Later, when music designed for cats was played, the cats came to the speaker and started doing more joyful activities, including rubbing themselves against the speaker.
