American pop singer Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have been confirmed to be dating.

In a video that went viral on social media, the two were recently seen spending some quality time together on Perry’s yacht, the Caravelle, off the coast of Santa Barbara, California.

In the video, Katy Perry, 40, and Justin Trudeau, 53, can be seen hugging and kissing each other on the deck of the yacht, officially confirming months of rumors.

The two looked very relaxed and seemed completely unfazed by the presence of tourists around them. Katy Perry was wearing a black swimsuit while Trudeau was seen with his hand on her back.

A nearby eyewitness recognized Trudeau by the unique ‘Haida raven’ tattoo on his arm, which symbolizes his connection to Canada’s indigenous culture.

It should be noted that Katy Perry is currently busy with her world tour, from which she has earned about $80 million so far.

Justin Trudeau resigned as Prime Minister this year after almost a decade and officially separated from his wife Sophie Gregoire in August 2023. They have three children, Xavier, 18, Ella Grace, 16, and Hadrian, 11.

Katy Perry, on the other hand, has a five-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, with actor and ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom. Perry and Bloom ended their 9-year relationship this year. She was previously married to comedian Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012.

Rumors of a romance between Perry and Trudeau first emerged in July when the two were seen dining together at Montreal’s famous restaurant Le Violon.
