Hollywood actor and director Justin Baldoni has filed a lawsuit against actress Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds.
According to foreign media, the action came after Blake Lively accused Justin of sexual harassment and attempted defamation in December 2024.
Justin has claimed $400 million (about £326 million) in damages against Blake, including blackmail, defamation, and invasion of privacy.
Justin’s lawyer Brian Friedman alleged that Blake and his team tried to damage Justin’s reputation by providing the media with ‘unverified and edited information’.
The dispute began during the filming of ‘It Ends with Us’, which is based on the novel by Colleen Hoover. The film grossed more than $350 million worldwide. However, tensions between Blake and Justin were evident when they were not seen together at the film’s premieres.
Blake accused Justin Baldoni of an “unsafe work environment” and online defamation four months after the film’s release, but Justin’s team vehemently denied the allegations, calling them lies.
