ISLAMABAD: The Judicial Commission will meet tomorrow under the chairmanship of Chief Justice Yahya Afridi to appoint more judges in the Lahore High Court.
The names of 8 session judges will be considered in the meeting of the Judicial Commission for the appointment of additional judges in the Lahore High Court.
The names of Raja Ghazanfar Ali Khan, Qaiser Nazir Butt, Akmal Khan, Tanveer Ahmed Sheikh, Jazeela Aslam, Tariq Mahmood Bajwa, Shahida Saeed, Akbar Gul Khan will also be considered for the appointment of additional judges in the Lahore High Court.

Earlier, on February 6, the previous meeting of the Judicial Commission approved the appointment of 9 additional judges in the Lahore High Court, for which 49 names were considered.
The majority of the Judicial Commission approved the names of Hassan Nawaz Makhdoom, Sardar Akbar Ali, Malik Javed Iqbal Vance, Malik Waqar Haider, Syed Ahsan Kazmi, Muhammad Jawad Zafar, Khalid Ishaq, Malik Owais Khalid and Sultan Mahmood in the Lahore High Court.
The above-mentioned additional judges were later administered the oath by Lahore High Court Chief Justice Alia Neelam.
