ISLAMABAD: A petition has been filed in the Islamabad High Court, declaring the posts on the X account of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan during his imprisonment in jail as anarchic, and requesting that the said posts be declared illegal.
In a petition filed in the Islamabad High Court through Barrister Zafarullah Advocate, citizen Ghulam Murtaza Khan has taken the position that the anarchic posts from the official account of a convicted prisoner during his imprisonment in jail are illegal.
He has requested that the National Cybercrime Investigation Agency and PTA be directed to investigate and identify the person running the X account and orders be given to block and remove the malicious, illegal and anarchic criminal tweets from social media.

The petition has said that the jail superintendent should be instructed not to allow the convicted prisoner to operate social media as per the jail rules and orders should be given to immediately stop the jail superintendent from illegal and unconstitutional activities.
The Islamabad High Court has been requested to order the PTI to stop re-spreading tweets made from the ex-accounts of the founder of PTI.
