Ishaq Dar told the Afghan government to either take action against TTP or hand it over to us

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said that we have asked Afghanistan to either take action against the TTP or hand it over to us.

In a press briefing in Islamabad regarding his foreign visits, he said that he visited the United States from July 21 to 28, Pakistan held the presidency of the United Nations in July, one of my answers was misinterpreted in the Atlantic Council, we cleared it up. Those who do not understand English should understand English because everything is done in English there. I visited the UK and held various meetings there, met the British Foreign Secretary and his Deputy Prime Minister, and met Kashmiri leaders.

He said that we inaugurated Punjab Land Digitization at the Pakistani High Commission in the UK, conducted a one-window passport operation in the UK, direct flights to the UK will start next month, and PIA’s direct flights to Manchester will start in September.

He said that he visited Kabul on August 20, a trilateral meeting of Pakistan, China and Afghanistan was held in Kabul, a bilateral meeting was also held with the Afghan Foreign Minister, the announcements made during the visit to Afghanistan in April were implemented, the Afghan Foreign Minister appreciated Pakistan’s statement, Pakistan has rejected the Greater Israel plan, Pakistan is sticking to its policy.

Ishaq Dar said that in the meeting with the Afghan leadership, both China and Pakistan had security concerns, our concerns were related to the TTP, we asked Afghanistan to either take action against the TTP or hand it over to us.

The Deputy Prime Minister further said that the Chinese Foreign Minister visited Pakistan, the Chinese Minister held various meetings in Pakistan, CPEC-2 was discussed with the Chinese Foreign Minister, ML-1 and Karakoram Highway are the top projects in it.
