Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said that occupied Kashmir is not an internal matter of India but an incomplete international agenda, as the Quaid-e-Azam had said, Kashmir is the “jugular vein” of Pakistan, there are also UN Security Council resolutions on occupied Kashmir, and Pakistan fully supports these resolutions.
Syed Asim Munir said that my second visit after a gap of just one and a half months is a sign of a new dimension in Pak-US relations, the aim of these visits is to take the relationship on a constructive, sustainable and positive path, the ongoing genocide in Gaza is a worst human tragedy that has serious implications at both the global and regional levels.
The Field Marshal said that several terrorist organizations from Afghanistan, including Fitna-ul-Kharij, are active against Pakistan, our progress and prosperity are linked to Pakistanis living all over the world.
The Field Marshal said that at present, Pakistan is the last bulwark against terrorism, there is no sympathy for terrorists and they will have to face justice with all their might, the devotion and commitment of Pakistanis living abroad to their beloved homeland is an open fact, even in the event of sudden disasters, Pakistanis living abroad are the first to respond to the appeal for help.
Regarding social media, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said that today’s social media has become a powerful tool, but anti-national elements also use it to create “fabricated chaos”.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, while quoting verses from the Holy Quran, said: “O you who believe! If a wicked person comes to you with some news, then investigate it thoroughly so that you do not harm anyone in ignorance and later regret your actions.”
Syed Asim Munir said that the thinking, relationships, and priorities of the new generation are different, which is the need of the hour to understand, and huge investments are expected due to the possible trade agreement with the United States.
He said that Pakistan has also achieved significant successes on the international relations front, various Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) are being implemented with the United States, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and China, which will promote economic cooperation and investment.
