Imran Khan, the chairman of the PTI and a former prime minister, stated on Tuesday that if harassment of him and his party persisted, he would be obligated to reveal individuals responsible for the “plot” to overthrow his government. Imran said in a video message from Islamabad, “If we are pushed to the wall and pursued, then I will be obligated to speak up and would lay bare everything before the people regarding what transpired.”
Imran claimed that despite being fully aware of “who did what” to compel his removal, he was “quiet.” The former premier claimed that he took these actions for the nation’s sake in order to prevent harm to the nation, adding, “I know how this plot happened and who is involved.” Imran claimed to have previously filmed a video in which he provided information on those who had engaged in “treason” against the nation.
Even though it will hurt the national interest, he claimed that the tape will be made public as soon as something bad happened to him. Imran initially discussed the footage in May when he asserted that his life was in danger. Imran asserts that he was removed from power by foreign entities working via local actors because he had an independent foreign policy.
Imran compared the demise of his administration to that of former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in his message. He claimed that the US’s opposition to Pakistan adopting a separate foreign policy was the driving force for both government changes. He attacked the coalition government members harshly, saying they merely wanted to obtain “NRO-2.” Imran claimed that the masses of people who flocked to the roadways in response to his invitation proved that the country has rejected the coalition administration.
