South African leg-spinner Imran Tahir has created new history in T20 cricket.
In a Caribbean Premier League match, 46-year-old Imran Tahir took five wickets for a career-best 21 runs.
With this feat, Imran Tahir became the first bowler to take three five-wicket hauls in T20 cricket after the age of 40.
He also became the second oldest bowler to take five-wicket hauls in T20 cricket at the age of 46 years and 148 days.
Overall, this is the fifth time he has taken five wickets in a T20 match and all of these have been achieved after the age of 37.
