Imran Khan is involved in 190 million pound mega corruption, bail does not mean acquittal, says Information Minister

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said that the bail granted to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan does not mean acquittal and he is involved in a mega corruption case worth 190 million pounds.

Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar, while talking about the press conference of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders, said that the founder of PTI is involved in a mega corruption case worth 190 million pounds.

He said that 190 million pounds is a mega corruption case of history, the founder of PTI was sentenced to 14 years in prison through a transparent trifle based on evidence, the founder of PTI could not tell the court on what basis billions of rupees were given to Malik Riaz.

Attaullah Tarar said that instead of providing evidence, the PTI resorted to the narrative of the State of Medina, instead of giving an account, these people used the Islamic touch and religion card and the billions of rupees that were supposed to be received by the government of Pakistan were deposited as fines.

He said that if the Daman was clean, then why did PTI and his wife form the Al-Qadir University Trust? It has been proven that the cabinet approval was taken for the sealed envelope. The ministers who raised the question about the envelope at that time were ignored.

The federal minister said that a scam of 190 million pounds was committed through the approval of the sealed envelope. These people could not prove anything in their defense in the court. Getting bail does not mean acquittal. Many PTI leaders have been convicted despite being on bail.
