Islamabad: Under the Green Pakistan Initiative, PhoneGro is playing a key role in promoting modern agricultural technology and smart farming in Pakistan.

PhoneGro has strengthened international standard smart farming in Pakistan through modern machinery. Effective use of water is being ensured through modern irrigation systems, solarization and eco-friendly methods.

Precision farming is being promoted through the use of drones, sensors and satellite technology. High genetic quality, IVF technology and embryo transfer have increased livestock production.

PhoneGro has set a target of establishing a zone-based National Herd Improvement Program by 2028.

Manager Livestock PhoneGro Dr. Shamrez said that in March 2024, PhoneGro imported high-quality cattle from Brazil and has produced more than 150,000 semen doses so far, a large number of which have reached farmers.

Dr. Shamrez said that so far, more than 3,000 embryos have been prepared in the Phone Guru lab and transferred to more than 800 different farms. Due to these measures, ordinary farmers are also achieving a significant increase in milk and meat production through high-genetic livestock.

With the effective measures of the Green Pakistan Initiative, Pakistan is rapidly moving towards agricultural innovation, sustainability and self-sufficiency.
