ISLAMABAD: Iman Mazari has filed a complaint against Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar in the harassment committee in the case of a heated exchange between Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar and Advocate Iman Mazari.
According to Justice Saman Riffat Imtiaz is the head of the Islamabad High Court’s inquiry committee on harassment of women. Sources say that Justice Saman Riffat Imtiaz’s court associate has received a complaint against the Chief Justice.
The complaint states that an inquiry should be conducted against Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar under the Protection of Women from Harassment Act, it should be determined that the Chief Justice made sexist and threatening remarks regarding Iman Mazari, and Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar should be held guilty of harassing the complainant.
Iman Mazari has further said in the complaint that the matter of harassment against Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar should be referred to the competent authority, the Supreme Judicial Council.
