Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has expressed hope for a good performance from the national team in the Asia Cup and asked them to stop criticizing the team unnecessarily and support them.

Talking to the media in Lahore, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said that the way Ghani Club is promoting cricket in Lahore is commendable, it is serving cricket and more such clubs should be formed.

He said that our team is playing well and will perform better in the Asia Cup as well.

Regarding India’s behavior in cricket, he said that he will maintain relations with India on an equal footing.

Regarding the selection of the national team, the PCB Chairman said that he has no role in putting any player in the team, but the selection committee makes the team after discussing for many hours.

He said that we are trying to give opportunities to all the best players available.

The PCB chairman said that our players will fight with all their might in the match against India, the result is in the hands of Allah, but support the team.

Mohsin Naqvi further said that stop criticizing the team unnecessarily and support them.
