Four shot dead over children dispute

HARIPUR (INP): Four persons were killed and four others sustained injuries in exchange of firing between two armed groups over children dispute at Ghazi Tarbela in Haripur district.

The shootout between Malik Azhar and Babar Sultan groups started at village Qaziyan in the limit of Khalabut township police station after exchanging hot words following scuffle between the children on late Sunday night.

As a result of cross firing, Malik Afzal, Malik Mushtaq from Malik Azhar group and Ameer Sultan, Sarfaraz from Babar Sultan groups were killed on the spot.

Police have registered the case and started investigation.
