Former Pakistani all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has been appointed as the new captain of Pakistan Champions for the second edition of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2025.
Pakistan Champions made an official announcement on social media and confirmed that Hafeez has been appointed as the captain in place of former captain Younis Khan.
The first edition of the World Champions T20 League was successfully held last year and now the second edition will start in Birmingham this month.
Retired star cricketers from Pakistan, India, Australia, South Africa, England and West Indies will be seen in action in this league.
In the previous edition, Pakistan Champions had shown a brilliant performance but lost to India in the final.
